Data sources and attribution
Terrazed does not own any of the elevation, imagery or map data it works with. Every source
below belongs to somebody else, and each sets its own terms. This page is generated from the
same list the application uses, so it always matches what is actually on offer.
The short version. Most sources here are free for commercial use as long as
you credit them. Two are not: Esri World Imagery restricts redistribution, and Sentinel-2
cloudless is non-commercial. Terrazed labels both in the interface before you download
anything, but the obligation to comply is yours, not ours. We cannot grant you rights we do
not hold.

Open Database Licence (ODbL), commercial use allowed
Roads, buildings, water, land cover and everything else in the feature layers, fetched
through the Overpass API.
© OpenStreetMap contributors. The ODbL is a share-alike licence: if you publish
a derived database, it has to carry the same licence. Producing a game map from it is
normally a "produced work", which only requires attribution. If you are shipping
commercially, read the licence rather than taking this sentence as advice.

Crediting these in your project
Every export bundle includes a manifest listing the exact sources used for that map, with the
attribution text each one asks for. The simplest way to comply is to copy that text into your
credits. If you exported a heightmap on its own rather than a bundle, the sources you used
are shown in the footer of the app while the map is loaded.
