Choose the ground
Drag a square over anywhere on Earth, and rotate it to line up with a valley or a coastline rather than with grid north. Or skip the map entirely and generate terrain from a seed.
Terrain for game engines and world builders
Pick an area on the map. Terrazed turns it into a heightmap your engine can read, with the satellite imagery and road network exported to match, pixel for pixel. Or build terrain from nothing, with erosion that carves drainage the way water actually would.

Hydraulic erosion carves drainage networks. Sculpt by hand where you need a plateau or a pass. Preview it in 3D at true vertical scale, and fly through it to judge whether it reads at eye level.
16-bit PNG, RAW, 32-bit float, ESRI ASCII or GeoTIFF. The satellite map, per-class masks and road centrelines all come out on the same frame, so nothing needs realigning.
Most tools give you one global dataset at 30 metres. Terrazed reaches the national LiDAR surveys underneath, where a metre of ground is a metre of data. It also tells you what each licence actually permits, before you build a commercial map on it.
None of these need an API key. Every source, and exactly what its licence allows, is listed on the data sources page.
Nothing to install and no plugin: the export is a file in a format these already open.
